The "Moon Salutation" or "Chandra Nama
skara is a flowing sequence of asanas, or poses, performed in a flowi ng sequence that brings a cooling or calming effect to the body. They are used to quiet the mind by drawing the attention inward. We still follow the same principles for breathing, inhale to extend and lift, and exhale to fold and bend. Pay attention to alignment as you make the transition between postures.
